For its sixth year, the Kingston Design Showhouse continues to shine as a hub of creativity and collaboration in the scenic Hudson Valley. This annual event transforms a historic home into a stunning showcase of innovative interiors, featuring the region’s top designers and artisans. We’re thrilled to have contributed to the spaces designed by the talented Damour Drake and NJA Interiors, celebrating the vibrant artistry of this design community.
by NJA Interiors
Naika Andre of NJA Interiors brought a long-standing vision to life with her bold, red-themed hall bathroom. Inspired by a red tile image she’d admired on Pinterest for years, she used Tile America’s Telaio in Burnt Flan for the shower and their Black and White Flower mosaic for the floor. Adding warmth and elegance, Andre paired the striking hues with our Monterey Pull from the Pure Salt Collection and the Florence Solid Brass Knob from the Pierce & Ward Collection, both in burnished brass.
To maximize space, she reimagined the bathroom layout and replaced the clawfoot tub. A Neolith countertop from The New Classtone collection and Porter Teleo’s hand-painted water lily wallpaper complete the transformation. In Buddhism, water lilies symbolize rebirth—a meaningful touch for this beautifully reimagined space.
by Damour Drake
Maryline Damour, founder of the Kingston Design Showhouse and principal of Damour Drake, designed a cheerful morning room inspired by the women’s sanctuaries commonly found in old large country homes. These spaces allowed the lady of the house to start her day thoughtfully, as Damour noted, “How you start your day is how you finish.”
The room includes a charming bar nook accented with our Williams Mother of Pearl Pull Set, while the fireplace mantel is elegantly supported by our stunning Marcelle Bracket from the Float Studio Collection.
