Florence 1" Solid Brass Knob - Unlacquered Brass

Sale price$69 In stock
SKU: PW1300UB
The Florence knob incorporates organic forms, rich textures, and warmth. Available in solid brass or with a lustworthy mix of wood and brass, this design grounds any sophisticated interior and infuses it with artistry. Made with hand-finished solid brass and betel nut and pine wood. Unlacquered Brass is a living finish, and if left untreated, it will naturally patinate and create a unique, beautifully aged look. If high-shine look is desired, it can be polished using a Brass Wadding Polish to bring its original lustrous state.

Installation

Installing your horizontal backplate knob set is simple with the included template. Follow these four steps to prepare the door, install the latch and strike plate, and securely attach the interior and exterior trims.

Position the Template

Place the installation template over the door, centering it on the existing bore hole or aligning it with the desired hardware position. Tape the template securely in place.

Drill Pilot Holes

Using a 1/8" drill bit, drill four pilot holes at the points marked “A” on the template. Use the strike plate outline to mark its position on the door jamb, aligning it with the centerline.

Install the Latch and Strike Plate

Insert the latch assembly into the edge of the door. Position the face plate over the latch and secure it with the provided screws. Install the dust box and strike plate on the door jamb using the marked locations.

Attach the Backplates and Knob

Insert the spindle through the latch assembly. Position the exterior and interior horizontal backplates on opposite sides of the door, align the knobs with the spindle, and secure both trims using the provided screws.
