Lucite Hardware

Our Acrylic and metal hardware is inspired by Manhattan’s famed 625 Park Avenue and the rich history of interior design in residences of the likes of Helena Rubenstein. Through the mid-1900's lucite and acrylic became one of the most trendiest and glamorous materials. But almost 100 years later it continues to capture the imagination of design lovers. In this collection we marry lucite and acrylic with brass to create a range of knobs, pulls and handles. These designs hark back to the era of indulgence and promise to be fashion forward for the next 100 years. You can mix and match various designs to create that luxe look that 625 Park Avenue is celebrated for.

About Our Lucite Hardware Collection

Modern Matter’s lucite hardware collection brings lightness and polish to cabinetry, furniture, and bath spaces. Clear and tortoise acrylic add depth without feeling heavy. The mix of knobs, pulls, appliance pulls, and towel bars makes the collection easy to carry across a room.

The collection pairs acrylic with warm metal finishes for a look that feels clean but not plain. Polished Brass and Burnished Brass add warmth. Polished Nickel gives the hardware a cooler feel. Unlacquered Brass brings a more natural finish that can change over time. Simple shapes keep the lucite crisp, while rounded and octagonal forms add more detail.

Lucite hardware works well when cabinetry needs brightness, contrast, or a lighter touch. It pairs especially well with painted cabinets, stone surfaces, glass, and layered lighting.
