Tailored to Your Style

Drapery hardware brings a distinct point of view to the window. Sculptural silhouettes, expressive material pairings, and richly nuanced finishes can echo the room’s architecture, complement a favorite textile, or introduce an unexpected detail. Discover how to select and combine each element, from finial shape and size to rod material and diameter, to create a drapery hardware set tailored to your space and individual style.

CURTAIN FINAILS

Select yourFinishing Detail

The finial establishes the decorative character of your curtain rod. Consider its silhouette alongside your drapery pattern, the lines of nearby furnishings, and the architectural details that give your room its personality.

Explore the Allegra, Blair, Charlotte, Dorothy, and Paloma finials, or choose the compact profile of a Deeda or Vera end cap. Charlotte’s floral form lends an ornamental note to the window, while the end caps offer a more understated finish.

For applicable finial styles, you can also select a metal or Lucite sphere, introducing another opportunity to personalize the design through material.

Its Place

Give ProportionIts Place

Once you have chosen a style, consider its scale in the room and how the finial and rod will work together to shape your window's overall silhouette. Depending on the design, size options include 1.75" and 2" for finials, along with 1" and 1.25" for end caps.

Either size pairs with a 1" or 1.25" rod, giving you the freedom to explore different proportions. A larger finial on a slimmer rod draws attention to its sculptural form, creating a more pronounced decorative accent. A smaller finial paired with a wider rod offers a subtler transition and a more streamlined profile. Let the scale of your window, the character of your drapery, and your individual style guide the combination.

That Belongs in the Room

Choose a FinishThat Belongs in the Room

The collection’s finish palette includes Polished Brass, Burnished Brass, and Antique Nickel.  Consider your selection alongside the room’s lighting, cabinet hardware, and decorative objects.

Repeating a finish can create continuity across the interior. Mixing metals offers another direction, particularly when the combination feels intentional in tone and proportion. Let the hardware relate to the room as a whole, with your finial finish becoming part of its broader material palette.

CURTAIN RODS

Rod Materials

ExploreRod Materials

The curtain rod carries your chosen material across the window, making it an important part of the overall design.

Choose a brass tubing in Polished Brass, Burnished Brass, or Antique Nickel, or introduce a wood or Lucite rod. A brass rod that matches your finials creates a continuous expression of the finish. Pairing metal details with wood or Lucite brings another material into the composition.

Consider the combination alongside your fabric. A richly patterned textile may invite a restrained hardware pairing, while a simple curtain can provide a backdrop for more expressive forms. Look at the rod and finials together as you refine the arrangement.

Diameter and Length

Choose RodDiameter and Length

With the decorative elements selected, choose your curtain rod dimensions. The collection offers 1" and 1.25" rod diameters, with rod lengths ranging from 24 to 126 inches. Rods can be cut to custom lengths in 1" increments.

Your selected rod length measures the rod alone. Finials add to the overall width, so account for their dimensions when planning the finished arrangement. This is especially important when considering the space available on either side of the window.

How to Measure Curtain Rods
Brackets

SupportingBrackets

End brackets are included with your drapery hardware set. For rods over 60 inches, center support brackets are also included to provide added stability: 60"–90" rods include one center support, while 90"–126" rods include two center supports.

All About

CURTAIN RINGS

with Curtain Rings

Complete the Lookwith Curtain Rings

Complete your drapery hardware set with coordinating curtain rings, sold in sets of six and available in finishes designed to complement your finials and rod. Each ring fits both 1" and 1.25" diameter rods, adding flexibility across the collection.

As a general guide, we recommend one ring for every 5–7 inches of fabric. Drapery can be attached using pins, clips, or sewn directly to the rings, depending on your preferred construction and finished look.

Together

Bring It AllTogether

Before completing your order, review each element of your drapery hardware set, including the finial or end cap style and size, finish, rod material, diameter, length, and curtain rings. A quantity of one includes one rod, a pair of finials or end caps, and the necessary brackets.

Considered together, these details create a window treatment that feels cohesive, expressive, and tailored to the room. From sculptural finials to refined material pairings, each selection offers an opportunity to bring your individual point of view to the window.
