To infuse your home with soul down to the most chic details, look no further than Louisa Pierce and Emily Ward of design firm Pierce & Ward’s hardware line with Modern Matter (top). The collection includes pulls, brackets, a soap dish and a door knocker that bring an unconventional energy to kitchens, bathrooms and beyond. Created in unlacquered brass with betel nut and pine wood accents, the designs, which are also available at the studio’s Los Feliz shop, play on Egyptian and Jazz Age motifs, exuding the designers’ boho-meets-glam style.
