Burnished Brass is an unlacquered, artisan-applied finish created through a hand-rubbed patina and barreling process. This treatment gives each piece its distinctive warmth, depth, subtle dimpling, spotting, and fine surface variation. Because the finish is applied by hand, variations in color, texture, and surface detail are intentional and contribute to the unique character of each piece. Burnished Brass will continue to develop a natural patina over time. Care for this finish only with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth, followed by immediate and thorough drying. Do not use brass cleaner, metal polish, soap, abrasive cloths, harsh chemicals, or any other cleaning product. These may remove the hand-applied patina and expose the raw brass beneath. Use of any cleaning method or product other than a slightly damp microfiber cloth will void the product warranty.

Our wood hardware is crafted from solid, high-quality acacia wood or steamed beech wood using time-honored techniques. Step 1

Mark the Surface

Apply painter’s tape and mark your exact drill point on top. This protects the wood while helping ensure precise, repeatable placement.

Step 2

Drill the Opening

Using a 7/32" drill bit, carefully drill at your marked point. Remove the tape once complete to reveal a clean, ready opening.

Step 3

Install by Hand

Insert the appropriate screw (typically 1” for ¾” thickness) into the drilled hole. Attach the knob, rotate until hand-tight, then secure with a screwdriver.
