Modern Matter founders Kat and Lee have always been fascinated by gemstones and have a lifelong relationship with the city of gemstones; Jaipur. As they forayed into hardware from designing jewelry they wanted to bring semi-precious gemstones to the world of hardware. Jaipur collection is our signature collection where gemstones are the protagonist - each stone with its unique personality and a story to tell. Classical hardware designs in solid brass can be customized with beautiful semi-precious stones like malachite, moonstone, lapis and rose quartz. We work with lapidarist to select gemstones that are then hand cut and hand polished. Each piece of hardware is custom made just for you and for your unique project.
