A: I had someone ask that same question not too long ago. I do not feel like I fall into one category. I love timeless pieces and mixing them up with a super modern piece of art. Again, I do not like to follow all the ârulesâ. If I love something,I am going to find a way to make it work. I definitely have no boundaries!Â
A: Okay, this is tough, but I love to work on young girls' rooms. I love talking with them and watching their little minds work as they try and explain what they love most. It is so fun to watch their own personal style come to life. Powder rooms are also fun because you can add pops of color with fun wallpaper and finish off the cabinet with a fun piece of hardware.
A: Two things about the south; people love color and they love to entertain! I always add a pop of color even if itâs just a piece of art or some fun pillows. When designing living spaces, I am constantly thinking about where people will sit or put a drink down if they are entertaining in the space. But most importantly, I want each house to feel welcoming!Â
A: I tell every client that I work with, if they love the space then everyone that walks in the room will feel that excitement and they will love the space too. I want to be able to walk in a room or house and feel like the people that own it actually live in the space. I do not always follow all the ârules.â I like to blend certain styles to give each room its own unique look that reflects the ownerâs style.Â
A: To me, hardware is like a piece of jewelry or the icing on the cake. Jewelry is the perfect accessory to finish any outfit with either a pop of color or a little extra sparkle. Hardware serves the same purpose. You can take a very plain cabinet door and give it an entirely different look with just the right pull or knob. I also like to use hardware to highlight different features of cabinet doors and drawers.Â
