A: I’m a mom of 3, ranging in age from 11-18, with an Australian Shepherd who thinks he’s one of my children. I recognize the importance of family-friendly design and finishes. My design is fluid; it represents my clients' needs, wants, and family. I strive to create a marriage of comfort and design. Whether it’s modern, bohemian, eclectic, or traditional, comfort, function, and reflection are my guiding principles.
A: This particular project was very appealing to me, as it was for a young family with two young boys and two dogs who loved to entertain. They were looking to restore their 90’s renovated Tudor back to its authentic self. The homeowners grew up surrounded by antiques, and I wanted to be sure these “storytellers” were integrated into the design.
A: The most important factors are staying true to the home's aesthetic while giving the clients a functional and cohesive space that’s reflective of what they want.
A: The Clementine and Pixie collections acted as the perfect bridge to connect the Tudor and cottage styles.
A: Don’t be afraid to mix your materials whether it’s metals, textures, surfaces, or colors.
