Q: What was it like to start your own residential interior design firm?
A: It was scary! I still love architecture and being able to offer my clients expertise in both areas. It’s always a risk to start something new, but I felt confident in my ability.
Q: How would you describe your style?
Loads of color and pattern, it's my signature and what people come to me for! Im not the neutral designer. I want to have lots of patterns and bold color.

How do you use hardware to add customized touches?
I recently bought nightstands for a bedroom project, and immediately knew i needed to swap out the hardware. It was the perfect opportunity to use a colorful gemstone to tie in the fabric from the bed - plus it adds extra customization.
Q: What was your best vintage score?
I bought these vintage bookshelves - very Asian inspired. I had them shipped from florida and sprayed them in Sherwin Williams Cascades - a green/ teal color. I will never part with them..
