The duo's appreciation for antiques and collecting is translated into designs with a timeless sense of cool. Bettlenut, pine wood, unlacquered brass, and art deco silhouettes evoke an eccentric yet utterly chic aesthetic. Get to Know: Pierce & Ward

Louisa Pierce and Emily Ward work with a roster of ultra-famous clients (Leonardo DiCaprio, Dakota Johnson, Kate Hudson, Karen Elson, Lily Aldridge and Caleb Followill, to name a few). But the designers themselves couldn’t be more down-to-earth. Their eclectic spaces artfully blend periods and cultures, never feeling “decorated” or ashy. “Our goal when we design a home is to make it appear as though the person has lived there for a long time,” they say. “Our favorite compliment of the year was when a client told us, ‘You did everything I never knew I wanted, and it’s perfect.’” In 2020, the designers published a monograph with Rizzoli that peeks inside the starry homes within their orbit.
