Crystal Nagel’s love for design, renovations, and vintage goods stems from a childhood spent immersed in these things. With an eye for beautiful things, Crystal ensures each client receives the personalized, unique look they love. She is known for her ability to mix traditional design elements with fresh ideas, resulting in customized spaces that exude an effortless appeal.
Q: How did you start your design career?
A: I started with personal home renovation projects, which I was blogging about at the time, and moved into design for a builder and others as time went on.

Q: How has living in the south influenced your design?
A: Growing up in the south with a mother and grandmother who are lovely home decorators, I was often in wallpaper and fabric stores putting together combinations. The south is known for color and warmth, both in environment and decor and those things influence my designs.

Q: When designing a room, what is the most important factor for you?
A: The most important factor when designing a room is the function of the space with the second most important factor being the way it makes its occupants feel when they're in the space.

A: Hardware is jewelry and makes a space shine with the perfect finishing touch.

Q: What is your favorite finish or gemstone?
A: My favorite finish is brass for its timeless nature and warmth. Turquoise is my gemstone of choice.
