Q: We love the beautiful blue spaces you have designed. What is your favorite color blue?
A: Using blue in my designs allows me to create tranquil spaces while also packing a punch. I love using a wide variety of blues. For the walls, my favorite color blue is a dusty blue. One with grey undertones so it doesn't read baby blue. It can be both feminine and masculine, and insanely relaxing. My favorite blue paints are: Mineral Alloy, Santorini Blue, and Nantucket Fog.
Q: Tell us one thing every room needs.
Every room needs a metallic element. I usually achieve this through hardware, lighting, or accessories. It creates instant balance and can often be a talking point. Brass statement knobs on cabinets with a fabulous light fixture is a win for me!

Q: What is most important to you when working with a client?
A: ​When I am working with a client, it is so important to establish a relationship that allows me to see their vision clearly. Sometimes the client is unable to pinpoint their style and I need to pull it out of them and translate it into a functional and beautiful design. This can only happen with good communication, listening, transparency, and trust. Once those key elements are established, the possibilities of creating a unique and creative space are endless. The hope is that my client always trusts the vision and can take some risks that I feel are rewarding.
