In a love letter to hopeless romantics, Eneia White creates a cheerful guest room suite that speaks to fellow dreamers at the 2023 Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach. With a charming blend of warmth, femininity, and moments of delight, the designer proves that guest rooms don't need to be bland.

The custom cabana bed sets the stage for a present-day fairy tale creating a safe haven for romantics to dream, reflect, and recharge. “We always design in a storyline format, and this would be an ideal setting for an afternoon of laying across the bed while reading a classic romance,” White muses. “Pulling from childhood memories, it feels somewhat fortlike but in a mature and modern way.”
Inspired by Palm Beach’s coastal environment, the custom-built canopy bed was painted with Benjamin Moore’s Prescott Green, and its shutters were adorned with our Cosmos Knob and Backplate in Burnished Brass for a touch of warmth and sophistication.

Custom Nightstands with the Washington Collection
And to add to the dreamy ambiance, Eneia included our Washington Knob and Drop Pull in the custom lilac ceruse nightstands. The hardware perfectly accentuated the feminine details in the room, complementing the floral rug and wallpaper and the embroidered draperies trimmed in pompoms. Each detail echos southern charm and enthralls romantic souls.
