Burnished Brass finish is hand applied by our amazing artisans. There may be natural variations in the finish which makes each piece charming and unique, and are not product defects. Such variations are inherent in the manufacturing of handmade products. Like a family heirloom, each Modern Matter product is filled with love, care, and careful thought. 

The most preferred way to take care of hardware is to regularly dust the product with a soft cloth. If needed, we advise that all our products are cleaned with slightly damp soft cloth and mild soap. Once it is cleaned, then wipe with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Please use non-abrasive lint-free or microfiber cloth that won't scratch the surface. Designs with gemstone and lucite can also be cleaned with slightly damp cloth and mild soapy water.
